We currently offer the Versikit 1 electronics kit that is great for getting kids interested in electronics--and having FUN while they do the experiments!
The kits are fun for kids (recommended age 10 and up) as well as for adults who want to learn basics about electronics. They provide a fast, intuitive, hands-on approach to learning, and contain some really neat items (the included sensors are really cool!).
The kits have been a popular part of the Junior Girl Scout engineering badge program (the "Making it Matter" badge), the Expanding Your Horizons program (4th ~ 8th grade) [click here to see photo: geniuselectronics.net/_wsn/page4.html], and in the Microsoft DigiGirlz program for high school age children.
There are no tools or soldering required--the kits are completely self-contained. The illustrated manual walks you through each step, and you gain confirmation of success every step of the way.
