You have discovered the home
of the ELECTRONICS MAGIC workshop. This
workshop is a 75 minute class that introduces students of all ages to a mix of circuit theory and hands-on electronics fun!
I have taught this workshop for years around the DF/W metroplex, and I think I still have as much fun as my students! A brief
background on me...
I am a degreed electrical engineer, inventor, and currently serve
as a private tutor in science and mathematics (need tutoring? See my tutoring website at www.jtservices.ws).
Thank you so much for visiting, and let me know if I can help you with your learning needs,
be they electronics, other science-related or math.

WORKSHOPS
The Electronics Magic workshop has been a popular part of many educational outreach programs, including:
The Junior Girl Scout engineering badge program (the "Making it Matter" badge), the Expanding Your Horizons program
(4th ~ 8th grade), the Upward Bounds program for first generation college
students, and in the Microsoft DigiGirlz program for high school age girls.
Interested in having a workshop taught at your learning institution? See click on the ordering page tab for details.
ELECTRONIC KITS
The electronics kit used in the workshop is also available for sale as a complete, stand-alone
electronics lab.
We currently offer the Versikit 1 (VS-1) electronics kit that is great for getting
kids interested in electronics--and having FUN while they do the experiments!
The
kits are fun for kids (recommended age 10 and up) as well as for adults who want to learn basics about electronics. They provide
a fast, intuitive, hands-on approach to learning, and contain some really neat items (the included sensors are really cool!).
There are no tools or soldering required--the kits are completely
self-contained. The illustrated manual walks you through each step, and you gain confirmation of success every step of the
way.
